Mary Kay Mason is an accompanist, vocal coach, piano teacher and background pianist.  She accompanied Opera and Broadway singers and played cocktail music on a regular basis at Posillipo’s Italian Restaurant in Asbury Park for fifteen years and still can be heard there on an occasional basis.  She was a resident accompanist at Brookdale Community College for six years and accompanist for Metro Lyric Opera Company for five years.

Past performances have included  Caesar’s Palace, Trump Taj Mahal and Trump’s Castle, all in Atlantic City;  Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ;  the Youth Temple in Ocean Grove, NJ;  the Brick Civic Center, Brick, NJ; The Essex and Sussex, Spring Lake, NJ;  the Gazebo at Bradley Beach, NJ; Lord & Taylor’s in the Woodbridge Mall; country clubs, retirement villages, churches, wine-tastings, weddings, showers, galas, and private concerts and parties.

Mary Kay Mason is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College and a member of Shore Music Educators Association.  She studied piano with Herbert Burtis and Sylvia Henry.
